Board Members - Volunteer

We're seeking dynamic and dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors! This is an incredible opportunity for those passionate about making a meaningful impact in our community. As a board member, you'll play a crucial role in guiding our organization towards achieving its mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in board meetings and decision-making.
  • Guide the organization's mission, goals, and strategic planning.
  • Establish effective governance policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies.
  • Oversee financial stability and accountability.
  • Represent the organization at community events and network opportunities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience in training, volunteer management, and social media strategies.
  • Public speaking ability and experience in diverse audience engagement.
  • Background in social work is a plus but not mandatory.

Commitment: This is an unpaid volunteer role, requiring a dedication of time, expertise, and resources. Expect regular monthly board meetings, committee meetings, and participation in special events.

Case Manager

The Case Manager is responsible for all client documentation creation and upkeep, financial records, medications as applicable, health and safety documentation, and all WAC and program requirements, assuring agency compliance in all areas associated with client documentation requirements in accordance with DSHS policies. Creates client IISP, PBSP, Protocols, release of information, and other required documentation for timeliness of completion. Assists with the transition of clients into and out of the program as needed.
