Our focus is in and around the Greater Puget Sound area. We cater to everyone, with a focus on communities that have been disproportionately affected by issues and historically overlooked. Many of our programs are designed to be available to any of our neighbors who may be in need or facing mental health challenges without a support system.
There are two main ways to support the work of Helping Hands. The first is through volunteering, specifically with our food distribution and housing insecurity programs. The second is through donating monthly; by supporting Helping Hands with just $25/month, you can help us give a local family $300 via food voucher, helping them access nutritious and culturally appropriate food from a local African grocery store.
